Mourning Ribbons for the Battery

Since the 18th Indiana will be participating at the Lincoln Funeral Coalition in May 2015, I thought it would be appropriate for members of the battery to wear a "mourning" ribbon during the event. The image at left shows what I have come up with. The one on the left will be worn by uniformed soldiers manning the mountain howitzer. The cockade on the right (that I have not yet put an image in) will be worn by women and civilians who attend the event with us. There is a great deal of thought and preparation being put into this event and I expect it will be nothing less than phenominal.

I have been in the American Civil War reenacting hobby for several years now. I reenact as a Federal artilleryman.
