| Since the 18th Indiana will be participating at the Lincoln Funeral Coalition in May 2015, I thought it would be appropriate for members of the battery to wear a "mourning" ribbon during the event. The image at left shows what I have come up with. The one on the left will be worn by uniformed soldiers manning the mountain howitzer. The cockade on the right (that I have not yet put an image in) will be worn by women and civilians who attend the event with us. There is a great deal of thought and preparation being put into this event and I expect it will be nothing less than phenominal. We are holding a planning meeting at the Snell residence on December 13th at noon. Send us an email for directions if you would like to attend. We will be discussing possible events for the 2015 season and other issues important to the 18th Indiana. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested to come and meet the members of the battery and their families. Join us for a pitch-in lunch before the meeting! I look forward to seeing you there!
